Won’t You Be My Neighbor?
One of the top grossing and best reviewed feature documentaries of all time, Won’t You Be My Neighbor? looks at the lessons, ethics, and legacy of the iconic children’s television host, Fred Rogers. The film is a hard-fought campaign to influence generations of kids and adults in the ways of kindness.
Since its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2018, the film has received three Documentary Critics Choice Awards, including Best Documentary, Best Director and Best Editing, as well as the Audience Award at the IFP Gotham Awards. The film was also nominated for five Cinema Eye Honors, including Best Documentary, the Producers Guild of America award for Best Documentary Motion Picture and the Film Independent Spirit Award for Best Documentary.
